Most documentation tells you how to set something up, or what a setting does. This section is for a different question: **what is the smart way to use it?**

The articles here are opinionated. They make recommendations, explain the trade-offs behind them, and say where a choice that looks obviously right in one respect costs you something in another — conversion against operational load, speed against cost, choice against clarity.

## Where to look instead

- **Getting live for the first time?** [Implementation](https://support.ingrid.com/space/KB/18219063/Implementation) covers the five phases from scoping to go-live.
- **Need to know what a specific setting does?** Go to the product section for the area you are configuring.
- **Something not behaving as expected?** Start with the [FAQ](https://support.ingrid.com/space/KB/11469235/FAQ).
