Ingrid is one platform with several products. You implement only the ones you bought, and each connects to your systems in one place.

This page tells you where to start, whether you are implementing Ingrid for the first time or looking for something specific years later.

## Start here: sign in to the Ingrid Merchant Platform

The Ingrid Merchant Platform is where you configure everything — delivery options, carriers, prices, rules, and settings. It is the interface your team will use day to day, and almost every article in this knowledge base assumes you can sign in, so this is the first thing to sort out.

Sign in with your existing Ingrid account:

If you do not have credentials yet, or your sign-in is not working, see [No credentials / cannot login?](https://support.ingrid.com/space/KB/11501599/No+credentials+Cannot+login) Access and permission levels can be set per person or per team, so you can give your operations, e-commerce, and warehouse people the access each one needs.

If you are integrating Ingrid rather than only configuring it, you will also need your API keys — see [Your Ingrid API keys](https://support.ingrid.com/space/KB/11436064/Your+Ingrid+API+keys).

> ℹ️ **A new interface is rolling out.** The [Unified Ingrid interface](https://support.ingrid.com/space/KB/648249347/Unified+Ingrid+interface) is a new way to run delivery, at a separate address and using the same credentials. It is being introduced in stages, so ask your Ingrid contact whether it is available to you. Everything in this knowledge base describes the Ingrid Merchant Platform unless it says otherwise.

## What each product does

| Product | What it does | Connects to |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Checkout** | Delivery options in your checkout: the right carriers, pickup points, and delivery promises per shopper and market. Two ways in — our widget through a platform plugin, or our headless API where you build the experience yourself. | Your e-commerce storefront |
| **Tracking** | A branded tracking page on your domain, plus email and SMS updates from dispatch to delivery. Tracking events can also feed your CX and marketing tools. | Your order data |
| **Transport** | Carrier selection, shipment booking, and label generation for every order, on rules you control. Ingrid generates the label and decides what goes on it; your system prints it as it does today. | Your WMS, OMS, or ERP |
| **Returns** | Self-service returns and exchanges: shoppers register online, choose a drop-off option, and get a label. | Your e-commerce platform, and your OMS, ERP, or WMS for returned-item events |
