**Return Address** is where you define the warehouse or facility addresses where returned items should be sent. Think of it as your returns destination manager. Each return address you create represents a physical location ready to receive customer returns.

**Key capabilities:**

- Create multiple return addresses for different warehouses or facilities
- Route returns by region to minimise shipping distances
- Direct specific product types to specialised facilities
- Manage complete address details and contact information
- Connect return addresses to your pricing and routing rules
- Support both standard returns and complaint handling

**Competitive advantages:**

- Flexible configuration supports businesses of all sizes
- Intelligent routing reduces operational costs
- Seamless integration with carriers and warehouse systems

### Use Cases & Configuration Scenarios

**Ideal for:**

- Retailers operating multiple warehouses across different regions
- Businesses with dedicated returns processing centres
- Organisations managing separate facilities for different product categories
- Multi-market operations requiring country-specific return addresses

**Common applications:**

- Regional routing: EU customers return to Amsterdam warehouse, US customers to New Jersey facility
- Product category routing: Electronics return to specialist facility, apparel to main warehouse
- Seasonal operations: Direct returns to temporary pop-up distribution centres during peak periods
- 3PL partnerships: Route returns to third-party logistics provider facilities

**Industry-specific examples:**

- Fashion/Apparel: Separate return addresses for clothing (standard warehouse) vs. premium items (specialist facility with enhanced quality control)
- Electronics: Route high-value electronics to secure facilities with specialised inspection capabilities
- Multi-brand retailers: Different return addresses per brand or product line for inventory segregation
